Southern Miss offensive lineman Calvin Wilson and defensive back Jamison Hughes have been suspended from the football team for violation of team rules.
Eagles head coach Larry Fedora announced the suspensions Tuesday but did not specify what rules both players violated.
Wilson, a redshirt junior right tackle, has played in seven games this season with five starts while Hughes, a redshirt freshman, has seen action in eight outings.
Both Wilson and Hughes will be allowed to practice while their suspensions take effect.
