Rivalry Games
Most schools, usually those which are located close to each other geographically or in their areas of specialization, develop intense rivalries that draw a huge amount of pressure to compete not just for the players and coaches of teams, but also for their avid fans that support them. Oftentimes, rivalries in college football are considered serious, with the winner getting the bragging rights and in some cases, a especially-made trophy to be given to the winner of the rivalry game.
Football Stadiums
Teams competing in the NCAA college football tournament compete in both home and away games. Home games are played in each team's respective stadiums while away games, also referred to as road games, are played in some other's home stadium.
Mascots
In almost any type of sports, mascots have been utilized to represent the competing teams. These mascots, which usually correspond to the team name, typically make a regular appearance at games and related events and their images may also be found in logos and merchandise.
