Michigan running back Kevin Grady finally got the green light to play for the Wolverines after being suspended last week because of his DUI arrest back in the summer.

Coach Rich Rodriguez, who confirmed the news Wednesday, said that Grady has earned the right to play and is at an even level with the other tailbacks on the depth chart. Despite his suspension, Grady was allowed to practice with the team.

This week, the Michigan roster has been quite "active" with several changes brought about by recent developments. Freshman linebackers Taylor Hill and Marcus Witherspoon will not be with the team this season as the former has decided to transfer while the latter was not academically eligible to play.

Also, UM will likely miss the services of wide receiver Greg Mathews and defensive end Ryan Van Bergen for the Saturday game because of injuries.
