Alabama could enter this weekend's game against Mississippi State minus two offensive players who are both hurting with their respective injuries.
Tailback Roy Upchurch sat out the Tide's 27-21 overtime win over LSU last Saturday because of a neck spasm which he sustained during the pre-game warm-ups.
Wide receiver Earl Alexander, on the other hand, played against the Tigers but suffered a slight shoulder dislocation when he attempted to reach the ball out over the goal line on the play that ultimately resulted in a fumble in Bama's first possession of the game. He only caught a 26-yard pass vs. LSU.
Upchurch is the team's third leading rusher with 56 carries for 335 yards and 4 TDs while Alexander has caught 7 passes for 116 yards this season. Both players sat out Monday's practice.
The Tide (10-0, 6-0) will look to snap its two-game losing streak against Mississippi State (3-6, 1-4) in Tuscaloosa this Saturday.
